I absolutely love my iPad and am rarely parted from it now. It does almost everything perfectly. Most people know about Steve Jobs spat with Adobe over the missing Flash but its problems with streaming video is also problematic and less widely known. When video streaming works, it really works well but for many videos it'll play a few seconds then stall, and not even try to pull down more content from the server until you hit the play button again, 2 more seconds of video, it stops until you hit play again. Over and over. This happens on both the YouTube app and embedded video in web pages. This doesn't happen on my other devices streaming from the same wifi connection. Why is this taking so long to fix? The forums have raised this issue but Apple have not dealt with it. Frustrating.

For all of you reviewers who said the iPad was rubbish for creating content, I'd say splash out another £50 and get yourselves the keyboard dock. Then you just prop your iPad up on it and not only does it charge while you're typing but you get a full size keyboard (I measured it, and it is) that you can fit in your handbag. Hey presto you have the lightest slimmest word processor ever. true, Apple's Steve Jobs must have had an off day when he created ipages, the word processing programme because it doesn't naffing well have a word count on it which is essential for me. But there's always a way around..... You just download a Pastebot App and it'll do the word count thing - no probs. I'd say this is the best portable word processor around, so light, so slim,so beautiful it's the Kate Moss, the Supermodel of mini word processors. I have to put my cards on the table, I don't do spreadsheets but for creating word type documents it's great. And who needs to put stuff on a dongle anyway when you can just email your document to yourself and create a backup copy that way? With the iPad there's always a way around.

The IPad is a brilient item for what it does, and in my opinion is far much better than PSP. So Ipad is designed for what it does, can i able to use 'youtube? Yes. Can i able to access the internet YES. Ok it may not have FLASH, but can i able to access the websites that i can buy goods to be delivered? YES!! If you have got the WIFI version then that's far better cause you saved money from the WIFI+3G VERSION. You can get your own WIFI Dongle, and this lets you take your own WIFI with you everywhere. Instead of relying on Public WIFI Hotspots such as [...] - [...], This WIFI Dongle will connect up to 5 devices at once and the reception is very good as well. Yes I love my iPad. It does all the things an iPhone does(except phone:-)) but the size actually means you can see what you are doing. I think that App developers are taking too long to convert or develop apps for the iPad, but those that are out there are on the whole pretty good. I bought the Colins Dictionary and Thesaurus and they work really well on the iPad. Dealing with email at full size is a pleasure and means you dont have to resort to your PC when you want to get your email or reply to someone. Pictures too are great on the iPad and you can share them with friends who appreciate the clarity and colour. I bought a good cover which shows iPad to its best and I will buy a keyboard when I see one that I like.

Don't buy an iPad expecting it to replace a laptop. As many other people have written, it doesn't do that. And to be fair, I don't think it's meant to. I bought one because I just couldn't resist, and that's been my experience with everyone: they just can't resist touching it! I find it most useful for quickly checking stuff on the web, checking e mail, reading newspapers online and reading ebooks. The most useful feature, and the one which beats any other device, is that it is more or less instantly on. That's why it's so good. Of course if you want to write a letter, or do a spreadsheet, or spend hours browsing, you'll do that from a PC or a laptop. But as a quick way to get stuff done, it's ideal. It's also completely silent, so I can sit and browse or read an e-book without the clicking of keys or a whirring fan annoying anyone. It has a few teething troubles which need to be sorted out: the mail client can crash if you receive a mail with certain characters, some of the apps are a bit flaky, and some of the functionality is not as intuitive as you would expect a Mac to be (I've had to look 2 things up in the manual, which I've never had to do before with a Mac) but it's an excellent product which I love to use.

Prompt delivery, does everything advertised and very good value. Wouldn't take the ipad anywhere without it and with the technet screen protector, your investment is well protected. Well worth it and recommended to all.

Had this for a couple of weeks and still satisfied with the purchase. It fits well over my iPad. The stand at the back is surprisingly sturdy. My only minor criticisms would be that it's a little loose by the on/off button and the magnetic clasp needs a little persuasion to fit into position.

I did a bit of searching for the right case and chose this one because it received so many positive reviews. It is certainly sturdy and gives a couple of options for using it. I'm not sure why it has business card holders, but maybe I'll find a use for them. It came pretty promptly and was well packaged. All in all I am pleased with it, it is functional and is keeping the ipad safe. I would have preferred something a bit more jazzy or even a choice of colours, black is pretty boring but maybe they'll get round to that in the future.

An elegant item that is nicely constructed. Suits its purpose well, with all slots properly aligned with the ipad.

This is a lovely leather case for the iPad. It gives it plenty of protection, looks great and gives access to all ports and buttons on the device. The case makes carrying the iPad much easier too without getting the screen full of fingerprints or dropping it. The iPad fits very snuggly into the case and the various positions the iPad can be placed in is a great feature. There are four credit card sized pockets in the opposite inside flap for putting business cards or cleaning cloths etc but this is the side which lies on the table top when in picture frame mode so you can't put anything bulky in there. The fastening strap is strong with a mild magnetic catch. The only niggle I have with this case is that the fastening strap can not be folded back or pushed into the case itself, and so, when the case is being used as a photo frame stand for the iPad the leather strap sticks up in the air from the top of the case, spoiling the look. Easily remedied with a small piece of blue tack or tape, I suppose. The case may not have been designed for this use, but the iPad was, and this is a small annoyance in an otherwise excellent case.

It dose the job well covers the iPad but the rubber edge can sometimes slip off when playing games witch can be annoying.

This set of covers arrived promptly and with no bending of the package. The covers themselves are easy to fit, and as there's 3 you have 3 attempts to get it right. My cover doesn't haven't any bubbles at all, and I'm very happy with it.

Excellent value for money, first class service and provides very good protection for the iPad.

Maybe it was just me as I can see other reviewers have left positive feedback but I couldn't get rid of the dozens of bubbles and ended up throwing the protector in the bin

The screen cover was applied very easily, with NO bubbles! First time this has happened for me with various types I have tried. Better than the one bought at the Apple store, which was a nightmare to try to apply. Gave up on it in the end and junked it!

The product is hard to apply to the iPad. It is very likely to end up having dust or bubbles underneath. At the end of the day you get what you paid for.

Don't use the provided cloth! It's is more like a device for *placing* dust on the glass! I cleaned the glass on my iPad, and it shone like the Hubble telescope mirror. Then I tried the cloth. All it did was spread dust, which appeared from nowhere, all over the glass, so I had to clean the glass again. As for the plastic protector sheet, the moment you peel it away, dust zooms in onto its surface, rendering it instantly unfit for purpose, since however careful you are, the teenyest dust particles causes large bubbles to form. First there will be one or two little bubbles, but by the time you've inspected it and wondered what the heck to do, there will be hundreds. If you have a NASA-style dust-free environment, you may be able to do it, but for the average user, this product is a disaster.

This screen is great, easy to apply and feels good under your fingers. Pretty good at keeping finger prints to a minimum. Far cheaper than similar screens for the iPad.

I wanted a second pair of earphones to use with my iPhone and not need to carry a tangle of wires around. The sound quality from these is sharp and clear but lacks bass. The Apple earphones supplied with the phone are far superior in this regard and are considerably cheaper. I expected better from Sony.

Went to John Lewis to see what they stock for the iPad and then bought it from Amazon. Traditional design, excellent product and quality finish. Despite what some may say the corner location straps do not obstruct any of the buttons or the headphone socket.

Excellent product so much so that, those I know with the apple iPad official case are envious of the Griffin case. It is far better than any you will buy from apple.

Quality of materials and construction is good, but design is poor - corner holders get in the way of the ipad's volume control and sleep switch meaning you have to at least partially remove the iPad from the case to operate them. Alternatively you can flip the iPad around so that it is "upside down" in the case, but then you can't get at the lock switch. You get the impression that this case was designed without access to an actual working iPad - just the overall dimensions.

I applied the Zagg Invisible Shield to my iPad (which provides protection against scratches and gives extra grip whilst maintaining the beauty of the design) but I also wanted a case with the idea being that the case would provide extra protection when the iPad is not in use, being carried, given to a friend or when I wanted to use the iPad for a short period of time but I wanted a case that would also allow me to remove the iPad quickly so I can enjoy using it without a case. This product fits my requirements perfectly. Only negative is that the case won't double as a stand but that doesn't bother me.

Brought a Combo of: ipad case, screen protectors and stylus pens; ipad case - excellent added protection and stands-up well, screen protector: easy to use so long as you know what your doing (fitted 1st time), stylus: brilliant if you have large fingers!!! All great value for the prices I paid.

It's probably a good job that you get 3 screen protectors, my first attempt ended up in the bin! and with a bit more time and patience on my second attempt, I succeeded in placing it on my screen perfectly. There was a few small bubbles but these disappeared by rubbing over with the cloth. I am very happy with these screen protectors, I don't think there is a screen protector on the market that's simply easy to attach!!!

It's my own fault. I should have read the reviews. Screens that don't protect because you can't get the stoopid things on and a cloth that seems to be a magnet for any dust that might happen to be in the vicinity! Worst purchase ever and I've bought a lot of rubbish.

It does the job. But I would say to put it on ipad screen is an extremely hard work. I tried many times can not avoid the dust to get in. One of the screen protect is not flat. If this is your first time to try to put on a screen protect, you may need more than one. You would see lots fringer print on the screen when you use it. It is a bit annoying.

These guys advertize the premium ipad case similiar to the one on the apple site, with a stand but when you receive it, its a lesser model wth no stand, Contacted them, they said theyd replace it over a month ago and still nothing, so I filed a claim with Amazon for full reimbusement.

The pouch is nice to look at and seems quite smart. but the cover is not closed and the ipad can fall out. I do not recommend it the official apple cover is the same price, less thick and fits all around.

Ok, so the case is fairly cheap. In general not bad, here are the few downsides: Not leather! Also the window opening in the front of the case should be cut out slightly bigger.

I have a couple of issues with this basically good product. 1 it is not leather as far as I can make out, despite the description. 2 the iPad will fall down within the case when it is in 'upright mode', or upright. I have done a simple mod to mine using self-adhesive Velcro pads (also available on Amazon) to secure the flap that holds the iPad in. This makes the Home button accessible when in that mode and also assures that the ambient light sensor works correctly

I bought this from Amazon but it came from Alex's, a marketplace seller rather than from Amazon itself. It seemed fine - but it feels like plastic rather than leather and there is no mark on it to say that it is leather. I have seen items on ebay called Snugg ipad cases which say that it is 'synthetic leather' so I am not certain whether a Snugg case is supposed to be leather that closely resembles plastic or is in fact plastic. However, the design is good and it does what it is supposed to and worked fine, but after a short while, the (definitely) plastic beading of the sleeve that the ipad slips into started coming away. This covers the edges and is presumably there to stop them fraying. This is the most flexible bit of the case and it looks like the materials are just not up to the amount of movement that they are supposed to take as the ipad is slipped in and out. I was a bit disappointed and asked for a refund as it failed within 30 days. Alex's replied to my email immediately with details of how to return the item and said that they will fully refund, so I was pleased with this response.

I would recommend this case as it's proved to be a nice looking and protective case for my iPad. The good points far outweigh the bad points, for me anyway: Good: Nice stitching, although I think black stitching instead of white would have given it a more sleek/stylish look, but this is a matter of personal taste. Nice PU leather effect, looks like the real thing. Slots for all the switches, holes on the iPad. Doesn't encroach on any part of the viewable screen area. Nice magnetic clasp which means you can access your kit without any unsightly popper type clasps. I have a Proporta leather flip case for my iPod Touch and it uses a similar magnetic fastening. This is a very convenient feature. Bad: The iPad slips down very slightly when in portrait mode - others have commented on this, but I think it's not that bad (at least on my version). Maybe the manufacturer has taken note and modified the flap on my one so the effect is not as pronounced. I am very obsessive when it comes to stuff like this and it's not an issue for me, so it's not that bad a point. When in keyboard mode, as noted by other reviewers also, the cover can slip out of the retaining tab, meaning you have to reposition the cover back into the tab. This isn't so much of an issue for me, as when I use it in keyboard mode, it's usually on a table. This would most likely be more annoying when lying in bed. Any movement from the user can cause this happen so I can understand the worst reviewers frustration (s/he probably moves it about a lot when in keyboard mode perhaps).

It has great folding options and purchased this because my friend had one but then I saw someone with the Apple official case and returned the Snugg case for a refund and purchased the Apple one. My firend is now putting his Snugg one on Ebay to do the same. Although the folding options arent quite as sturdy on the Apple one it can do all the same things and is significantly thinner and doesnt take away from the Appleness of the Ipad, the Snugg one does I believe. Still its a very good product overall if you dont mind the thickness. Its really nice quality.
